Dickinson is need-aware for international admission. Its current first-year checklist explicitly caps international need-based funding at tuition; do not promise coverage of housing or all expenses. Aid seekers submit CSS Profile plus Certification of Finances, while all international applicants submit CoF. Mandatory insurance and one-time fees are excluded from need calculations. Merit awards are considered without a separate application. General full-need marketing must not override the specific international tuition cap.
Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency: TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo are accepted. Recommended scores: TOEFL 90 on the old scale or 4.5 after January 2026; IELTS 7; DET 120. At least three years of high-school coursework in standard English (not ESL) is an alternative; modern-language courses are excepted.
Dickinson's Common App first-year profile currently lists no application fee, consistent with the college's announcement that it removed the fee. The older 2024–25 Common Data Set lists $65 and is not used as the current application fee. Check the actual application before paying any charge.
First-year ED I and EA applications/aid November 15; ED II and RD January 15. RD may switch to ED II with an agreement by January 28. International aid uses CSS Profile/CoF, not generic federal FAFSA eligibility. The page explicitly says there is no Spring 2027 first-year cycle: do not use its otherwise displayed October 7 spring date. Confirm the intended fall entry year, which is not labelled in the round table.
