International first-year applicants are automatically considered for academic merit scholarships. Limited need-based support requires the International Student Financial Aid Application; applying early is encouraged. Drew Action Scholars and arts awards require additional applications. Full-cost funding is not promised.
SAT/ACT submission is optional, including for merit scholarship consideration. Applicants choose on their application. Drew superscores SAT but uses the highest single ACT composite rather than an ACT superscore.
Non-native English speakers need proof of proficiency. Accepted exams include TOEFL iBT/Essentials, IELTS, Duolingo, PTE Academic and English GaoKao. Individual waivers may be granted for SAT/ACT results or previous study in an English-speaking country. The pathway program is separate from direct admission.
The regular undergraduate application has a $40 non-refundable fee. The separate Tilghman International Center pathway advertises no application fee; that offer is not the regular undergraduate fee policy.
Published first-year deadlines: ED I November 1; EA December 1; ED II January 15; RD February 1, then space-available review. Spring deadline January 2. These are the current general deadlines; the table does not specify an entry year. Apply early for limited need-based aid.
