Reed meets assessed full need for all admitted international students for four years; packages may contain grants, loans and campus work. Ordinary aid is need-based, not academic/athletic merit. The international page describes separate UWC Davis/Reed awards and a Continental full-tuition initiative, not universal full-cost scholarships. Request aid with admission. https://www.reed.edu/admission-aid/costs-and-financial-aid/financial-aid/international.html says international awards stay fixed despite later family/exchange-rate changes. CSS is preferred; hardship applicants may request Reed ISFAA instead, not CSS payment codes. International applicants do not need noncustodial CSS or foreign tax documents through IDOC. Confirm forms for the intended entry year: that page still labels 2026–27.
The international page encourages rather than universally requires English exam results and accepts English-medium school/program documentation without testing. Its required-documents section lists tests or English-medium schooling as proficiency evidence; do not assume that no evidence is needed. TOEFL 5.0+ (older scale 110+), IELTS 7+ and DET 145+ are averages, not minimums; SAT 600+ reading/writing or ACT Reading/English 28+ are also listed as evidence. Confirm your individual evidence with international admissions.
First-year ED I and EA applications November 1; ED II and RD January 15. Optional interviews: ED I November 15, EA December 1, ED II January 31, RD February 1. CSS deadlines follow admission rounds. The general aid table has IDOC deadlines one week later, but international instructions exempt foreign tax submissions and noncustodial CSS, so those domestic requirements are not copied. No entry year is labelled in the application table; confirm the intended cycle and aid form year.
