Richmond is need-aware for international applicants and meets calculated full need when all required aid documents arrive on time. Submit Certification of Financial Responsibility and 2027–28 CSS Profile. Aid deadlines: EA/ED I November 15, 2026; ED II/RD February 1, 2027. Late applications lose aid eligibility or receive reduced grants. Awards cover up to eight regular semesters, excluding summer.
Fall 2027 applicants may apply without SAT/ACT. If scores are selected for review, they must arrive by the credential deadline. Richmond superscores; enrolled score-submitters must provide official results before the fall term.
Non-native English speakers need official TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo results or an approved waiver. Waivers include four years of rigorous English-medium secondary schooling, specified SAT/ACT scores or qualifying AP/IB/A-level English grades. Published competitive scores are not minimum admission cutoffs. Waivers are confirmed after application review; optional interviews do not replace English proof.
Richmond offers an application-fee waiver to international students and other applicants living abroad. Follow the Richmond Awarded Fee Waiver instructions linked from its international admissions page. This admission waiver is separate from the CSS Profile waiver process.
For the 2026–27 application cycle: ED I/EA applications November 1; ED II/RD January 1. Credential deadlines: ED I November 15, EA December 1, ED II January 15, RD February 15. Apply by December 1 for Richmond Scholars. Financial-aid deadlines are listed separately under aid.
