УМОВИ ПОДАЧІ
UCSC advertises the Undergraduate Dean's Award for nonresident first-year students, ranging from $12,000 to $100,000 in total across four years. This offsets nonresident tuition rather than guaranteeing full costs and ends if California residency is established. The amount is not an annual award.
UC excludes SAT/ACT from admission and scholarship selection. Scores may still support minimum eligibility or course placement.
English proof is normally required with fewer than three years of English-medium secondary study. First-year options include IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT/Home 4.5, DET 115, qualifying AP/IB English or UC-transferable composition. IELTS results must be sent electronically by the test center; paper reports are not accepted.
International fee: $95 per campus, non-refundable. UC waivers: US citizens, permanent residents or AB540 eligibility only.
Fall 2027: apply October 1–November 30, 2026. Admitted first-year students must accept by May 1, 2027.
