Foreign nationals cannot receive Wake Forest need-based aid. International first-year applicants may compete for most merit scholarships, including several full-cost awards. These are highly selective; otherwise applicants must document sufficient funding. International transfers are ineligible for assistance.
Wake Forest does not require SAT/ACT for international undergraduate admission. Scores become required for consideration only if the applicant elects to have them reviewed; enrolled score-submitters must later provide official results.
English proof is required for non-native speakers or students outside English-medium schooling, using TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo. The international FAQ provides a waiver after at least three years in English-medium schooling. English-test scores are not superscored.
The application fee is $85. Applicants who need assistance can request a fee waiver in the indicated application section; the international admissions page explicitly offers this option.
The current first-year page linked to Class of 2031 lists ED I and first-generation Early Action on November 15; ED II and Regular Decision on January 1. Apply by November 15 for most merit scholarships. Foreign-national need-based aid is unavailable.
