Wooster's international admission is need-aware. Submit Wooster Certification of Finances (or an existing CSS Profile) with the application by the round deadline. Its combined merit/need award uses institutionally assessed need; the college generally does not admit applicants it cannot fund. Families are typically expected to pay 40–50% of predicted costs. Full-ride scholarships are explicitly unavailable, though a competitive Presidential full-tuition award exists. Budget separately for housing, insurance, books/personal costs and future 3–5% annual fee increases. CSS fee waivers are not provided because Wooster's own form is free.
International admission is test-flexible, not a blanket removal of all evidence. Preferred tests include ACT/SAT or accepted English exams; listed alternatives require a requested waiver, such as IB predictions, three APs including English, three A-level predictions, WAEC with verification, named South Asian board exams, or Korean CSAT with InitialView. Self-reports need official verification upon enrolment. The 3+4 Pre-Dental program specifically requires official SAT/ACT and ED I/EA application.
International applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through Wooster's test-flexible policy. TOEFL, IELTS, PTE Academic and DET are among preferred evidence; listed school-exam alternatives require emailing [email protected] for a waiver. TOEFL 80 is recommended on the older scale, not labelled an absolute cutoff; no numerical IELTS/DET/PTE minimum is published here. Confirm the new 2026 TOEFL scale with admissions rather than converting it ourselves.
Wooster's own Common App profile lists no first-year application fee. Its financial form is separately free and CSS fee waivers are not offered. Do not copy the older Common App deadline narrative (including EA November 15 and a 2025 spring reference) over the explicitly dated Fall 2027 international admissions schedule.
For Fall 2027: ED I and EA November 1, ED II January 15, RD February 15. The separate Spring 2027 RD deadline is December 1. International scholarship/CoF deadlines follow the admission round and require all materials by that date. Binding ED requires the ED agreement; the special Pre-Dental program is available through ED I/EA only.
